Physician billing services for groups & surgery centers

A dedicated billing back office purpose-built for multi-provider physician groups and ambulatory surgery centers, with the full revenue cycle on contingency.

How we do it

Physician group billing is a different job from billing a solo office. Multiple providers mean multiple credentialing files, multiple fee schedules under one tax ID, and claims that must pay under the right NPI at the right location. Ambulatory surgery centers add facility claims, implant and device billing, and authorizations that have to be in place before the case is scheduled. Allied Billing Services is built for exactly this: we have provided physician billing services to Florida groups and ASCs for more than 30 years.

Our team runs the entire revenue cycle for the group — eligibility and benefits verification 48 hours ahead of each visit, prior authorizations tracked to approval, certified coding with next-business-day charge posting, claim submission and scrubbing, denial management and appeals, and A/R follow-up on every unpaid or underpaid claim. Provider-level and location-level reporting shows each physician’s charges, collections and denials, so group leadership can see performance without pulling it together by hand.

Pricing is contingency-based: a percentage of what we collect, with no fee on unpaid claims. For a group, that means the cost of billing scales with revenue rather than with headcount, and you are not funding a billing department during a slow month or a provider transition.

Common questions

Physician Groups questions, answered.

What size physician groups do you work with?
From two-provider practices to multi-location specialty groups and ambulatory surgery centers. The work is the same discipline at every size; what changes is the reporting and the number of credentialing and contract files we manage for you.
Do you bill for ambulatory surgery centers as well as physicians?
Yes. We handle both the professional claims for the surgeons and anesthesia providers and the facility claims for the ASC, including implant and device billing and the prior authorizations that must be secured before the case is scheduled.
Can you report on individual providers within the group?
Yes. Our reporting breaks out charges, collections, adjustments, denials and days in A/R by provider and by location, in addition to group-level totals, so you can see which providers and payers drive your results and allocate revenue accurately.
