Medical billing services for Florida physician groups & ASCs
End-to-end medical billing — professional and facility claims, payer follow-up, underpayment recovery and patient statements — run by certified billers from our Orlando office, on contingency.
How we do it
Medical billing is the part of the revenue cycle where most practices quietly lose money: claims that go out with a missing modifier, denials that sit in a work queue for 60 days, underpayments that are never compared against the contract. Allied Billing Services runs this work as your back office. Charges are coded and posted within the next business day, claims are scrubbed against payer edits before submission, and every rejection or denial is worked the day it comes back rather than batched at month end.
Follow-up is where a medical billing service earns its fee. We track every claim from submission to payment, call payers on outstanding balances, and compare each remittance against your fee schedule so underpayments are appealed instead of written off. Patient balances are handled with the same discipline — statements, soft collections letters and payment plans on your terms — so patient responsibility is collected without damaging the relationship.
Because our fee is a percentage of what we collect, our billing team is paid only when you are. You get collections management reporting that shows exactly which payers, codes and providers drive your denials and your revenue, and a team that is accountable for moving both numbers in the right direction.

Common questions
Medical Billing questions, answered.
- What does your medical billing service include?
- Charge entry and coding review, claim scrubbing and submission to all payers, clearinghouse rejection and edit resolution, denial management and appeals, payer follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims, payment posting, patient statements and soft collections, refund and overpayment handling, and monthly collections reporting. Insurance verification, prior authorizations, credentialing and payer contracting are available as add-ons or as a full revenue cycle package.
- How do you charge for medical billing services?
- On contingency. Our fee is a percentage of the revenue we collect for your practice, so there is no charge on claims that are not paid. The percentage depends on your specialty, claim volume and which services you include.
- Do you work inside our practice management system?
- Yes. We bill from your existing practice management or EHR system rather than moving your data to ours, so your reports, schedules and patient records stay where they are. If you are between systems or evaluating a change, we can advise on that as part of our consulting work.
